Analyze the similarities of the Middle Eastern Countries from the graphic organizer. You will want to take a look at the Rate of Literacy's role in the types of jobs that someone might obtain. Does the climate and physical features play a role in the types of jobs and transportation available?
Answer the following the questions in complete sentences:
Which Middle Eastern countries are similar and how are they similar? Explain any possible reason that these countries share these similarities.

Thursday...Pajama*/Slipper Day   Put drugs to rest
*****PJ's must be tasteful and within school dress code policies. (Blankets and Stuffed Animals are not part of Pajamas and will not be tolerated.) However adorable fuzzy slippers are to be celebrated. :)

 

Friday...Sports apparel day     Stay in the Game..Be Drug-Free
Students are encouraged to wear their bracelets all week.  This is a competition.

We have been reviewing the reasons for Middle Eastern Conflict.

Orginally: Religion---> Oil----> eventually Water Rights.

Compare and contrast the demographics of the Middle Eastern countries using a graphic organizer and the CIA Factbook.

Finish workbook pages and guided reading for Chapter 16. Due the week of 10/22

We began chapter 16 with an introduction to the ongoing Palestinian-Israeli Conflict.
And used a graphic organizer to help consolidate the conflicts of the Middle East to better understand their causes.
