Basic Info: I have three poodles which are all rescues; two minatures and one standard. I love to read especially in the winter. Cup of coffee and a cozy chair just sounds fabulous. I miss going to the symphony like I did in college. There was something wonderful about dressing for an evening of music that moves you. I still sing with my Alumni choir. Camping would be delightful to pursue again once it's cool. I know that Keiko (the dog) and I miss getting out. Oddly enough I love to knit and I dabble in quilting. There aren't too many domestic crafts that I won't pick up and try at least once.
Music: I will listen to just about anything. I love the people that say name the music in your CD Player or ipod. Hehe they are always in for a surprise. See if any of the following artists strike your fancy: 50 Cent, Black eyed Peas, Blue October, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, The Buggles, Chamillionaire, Phil Collins, Dave Brubeck, Donnie McClurkin, The Engine Room, Fall out Boy, Fort Minor, The Fray, Gnarls Barkley, Hakim, Hinder, Israel Kanakawiwo'ole, Justin Timberlake, The Killers, Kirk Franklin, KT Tunstall, Lil Jon, Marvin Gaye, Nelly Furtado, Nick Lachey, Panic at the disco, Piero Umiliani, Psapp, PCD, Remy Ma, Rihanna, Sapna Awasthi, Sunidhi, Rahul Bhatt, Shakira, Simon &; Garfunkel, Snow Patrol, Sonu Nigam &; Alka Yagnik, The Who, Yolanda Adams. Was that enough variety for you?
Movies: Hmmm if it's on I will watch it once. Though I refuse to pay $9+ for the theater. It works so much better to rent and watch at home, unless it's Harry Potter and then I'm going.
Television: Gee so much TV so little time.... Thank the heavens for TiVo House Nip/Tuck, NCIS, The Unit, Grey's Anatomy, CSI (all of them), Law and Order (the orginal and SVU), Ghost Whisperer, Star Gate, Numbers
Books: Last book was sadly Harry Potter: Half Blood Prince, Dan Brown's Angels and Demons & DaVinci Code, Feast of Roses, The Nine Parts of Desire: The Hidden World of Islamic Women, the Qur'an, the Torah, and the Bible.
